GIS-Integrated Pressure Monitoring

Gain a clearer view of your water distribution system with pressure monitoring integrated directly into your existing ESRI GIS environment. Southeastern Tank’s Pressure Monitoring solution uses cellular endpoint pressure monitors to help utility teams identify trends, detect abnormalities, and respond to critical events.

Connect Pressure Data to Your Existing GIS

Traditional pressure monitoring systems often operate separately from the tools utility teams already use, limiting systemwide visibility.

The iQ2 platform is built with IIoT capabilities that uses industry standard protocols to connect pressure-monitoring data with existing systems, including your ESRI GIS environment. This allows your team to view pressure conditions alongside system maps, assets, locations, and pressure zones within a familiar operational platform.

Key Capabilities

Detailed Data and Critical Alerts

Signals pressure monitors record pressure data at user-selectable intervals, capturing gradual changes, recurring patterns, spikes and pressure drops.

During normal operations, data is transmitted to the cloud every four hours to maximize battery life. If pressure crosses a designated critical threshold, the system sends an immediate alert so your team can respond quickly.

Access Data From the Office or Field

Authorized personnel can access current and historical pressure information from virtually anywhere. Field teams can review trends during inspections, maintenance work, and service calls, allowing them to make informed decisions without relying solely on someone in the office.

Proven Across a 130-Mile Distribution System

In one implementation, Signals pressure monitors were deployed across 130 miles of a utility’s distribution system and integrated directly into its ESRI GIS environment.

The monitoring data helped the utility:
